THE ERSKINEVILLE PROJECT

THE SENTIMENT THAT THE KITCHEN IS THE HEART OF THE HOME WAS TAKEN LITERALLY AT OUR ERSKINEVILLE PROJECT. THE PLACEMENT OF THE EXISTING KITCHEN MEANT THAT IT RECEIVED NO DIRECT NATURAL LIGHT. WE COUNTERACTED THIS WITH THE USE OF SMOKED GLASS FOR OUR SPLASH-BACK AND BRILLIANT WHITE CABINETRY, BOTH OF WHICH HELPED DRAW LIGHT IN FROM THE ADJOINING LIVING ROOM. WHEN IT CAME TO FURNISHING THIS BEAUTIFUL HOME AN IMMEDIATE ATTRACTION TO A CAPTIVATING RUST SOFA SET THE TONE FOR THE REST OF THE RESIDENCE. IT WAS IMPORTANT TO CAPTURE A SENSE OF SOPHISTICATION BUT WITH A PLAYFUL EDGE - MUCH LIKE THE HOME’S OWNERS.
